The goal of home staging is to create a positive first impression. When potential buyers enter your home for the first time, they should be able to envision themselves living there. Colors, furniture arrangement, décor and room flow should all work together to create a comfortable interior space. Sometimes staging can be as simple as removing personal items such as family photos, clothing, and general clutter or rearranging furniture to create a better flow. Other times, accessory décor items need to be rearranged, removed or purchased.
Whether building a new home or remodeling a current one, the finishes need to work together to create a pleasing space. Flooring, paint color, lighting and woodwork are just a few of the areas that require decision making. Putting it all together can be an exciting and fun experience. Sometimes, however, the process of making such choices can be overwhelming and stressful. A second opinion and a guiding hand can help ease the challenge.
Color, texture and shapes are just some of the elements of design that work together as décor. Choosing items and placing them correctly helps to bring visual interest to interior spaces. However, shopping and accessorizing isn’t for everyone. It can be a relief to delegate this process to someone else.
